The Worship Experience

We sing because the bible says  in Psalms 95:1, "O come let us sing unto the Lord... make a joyful noise to the rock of our Salvation."

We clap our hands and shout loudly  because the bible says in Psalm 47:1, "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph."

We lift our hands because the bible says in Ps 134:2, "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord."

We all pray together because the bible says in 1 Timothy 2:8 “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

We testify publicly because the bible says in Revelation 12;11 “And they overcame him ( the enemy)  by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

We speak in other tongues because the bible says in Acts 2:4, “They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:4

We baptize in the name of Jesus because the bible says in Acts 2:38  "Then Peter said unto them, ‘Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.’"

We read and study the bible because the bible says in 2 Timothy 2:15 “ Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 

We prophesy because the bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:39 Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

We preach a sermon because the bible says in Romans 10:14 and 17 “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher” and “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by  the word  of God."
